Gravy is a very English thing but we still like it. My English friends dipped in gravy but I never did without the curds. English here put gravy on sheapards pie but frenchies it ketchup. Same for meat pie

That is definitely not something for fries/chips.

BBQ sauce is goat tier fry topper, that's what I will ROLL with. As is melted cheese (with or without gravy). However, a true good fry doesn't need ANY topping you can just ROCK that fly plain.
