I also appreciate that The Beatles really did try to experiment as much as possible with their music and see what they could create as musicians. This is after 4 years of their songs sounding like relatively simple pop music. It’s cool how they’re first four years and last four years sound so different.

That's the thing...The Beatles made their "simple" music early on, but it's far more difficult than you'd think it is.

Something like that...George wrote a solo for the song, but Eric took his idea and did Clapton things to it. George IMO wrote 3 of the Beatles most important songs...Guitar, Something and Here Comes the Sun. Lennon/Macca are great, but even they have to admit those three are as good or better than anything they did.

Help! is such an upbeat song it distracts you from what the lyrics are telling you. One of my favorites
