I’m sorry, but that’s silly. Town players play poorly all the time. Why myslynch a player when you could gain info that might stop a myslynch. We’re just not gonna agree.
i wont mislynch them if they play better?
i am guessing here is the issue:
this is how lynches r processed here:
1. a player plays scummy
2. they get wagoned and are forced to claim
3. they claim something. could be fake or real
4. town uses their high quality claim solving logic (which is very susceptible to error and setup spec shenanigans) to determine if that claim is genuine or fake
5. if town decided its fake, that player is brute force lynched, regardless of their gameplay
6. if town decided its genuine claim, they move over to the next player and rince and repeat.
7. by the end of the day, town might end up forcing like 3-4 players to claim in a day which is terrible imo
this is the optimal way to handle lynches
1. a player playa scummy
2. they get wagoned
3. they are forced to play better or get lynched. period. their claim dont amount to jack if their play is still terrible.
4. if they play better (even without claiming) town leaves them and tries with the next suspect
5. if they continue playing poorly they get lynched and no claim saves them. they r to blame for their mislynch if town.
6. in conclusion, townies arent force to unecessary claim so mafia doesnt get free info, AND in the event a player is mislynched they will learn to play better next game or they will be lynched again and again until they improve.
overall the quality of games will become better since the players know claims cant bail them out. in contrast here players will get lazy over time if they think claims can carry them and bail them out of lynch regardless of their sht play, which lowers the overall quality of the game.
