Rashad is an idiot. Not much else to add to that. Man admitted to doing the rapings during the Civil trial and thought he could get away from it scot free.

If I understand the ruling from the recent case, the admissions weren't supposed to be admissible in a criminal proceedings. Just the civil.

I've never heard the tapes, but that's messed up. That said, I think he only got one charge overturned. Prosecutors should be able to try another case.

They can't try another case, none are within the proper time period. He got out on a technicality. Dude is still guilty as sin, and is on record saying he did the crimes.

There have been some changes to the rape statute of limitations. With advances in technology, there have been many states changing the way they charge for rape. This is mainly due to DNA testing not being around in the 70s - mid 90s. Small steps but at least it's a step in the right direction.

If you're any type of intelligent human being, comments like that should disgust you and make you feel sick for society. I think in that large list of women who came forward, I wouldn't doubt there were some just looking for a payday, but, I believe many of them that he did this shit to them, and, of course there is the whole self admitted stuff....these technicalities need to be reworked, they are fucking stupid and let dangerous people out. I hope he gets his old ass beat in the streets.

This is why people don't come forward. Regardless of him getting off because of something so stupid, I can't imagine the thoughts of these actual victims and where their head is at.

When my coworker told me that his sentence was overturned, my jaw hit the floor.

I live a block away from where he was tried; the support he had then was through the roof and it never wained.

The man knows what he did and although he’ll live the rest of his days out as a free man, he’s going to have to face judgment eventually.
