Biggest FAILURE by a wrestling company?

What is the single biggest EPIC FAIL by a wrestling company? WWF fucking up the Invasion, TNA hiring Russo, TNA hiring Hogan, WCW hiring Russo, Crocket buying UWF? Is there anything else that comes to mind?

For me I'd probably go with WWF fucking up the Invasion, simply because it could have made mega $$$ if promoted properly. Vince let his ego get in the way however, and he lost out on what could have been the biggest angle/storyline in pro wrestling history. Instead they fucked it all up for the sake of their own egos and the company suffered for it.

Athough as far as wrestlers go, of all time, I'd say Mark Henry is the biggest failure ever. I don't think he's ever drawn more than about 43 cents.

well i don't know if this is the biggest but its up there. Ken Kennedy getting injured & being stripped of MITB. then in a reattempt to push him as Vince's "son" he gets caught with roids & they have to drop the thing completely. then gets injured on his big face debut on RAW & fired the next day.

I would say Dixie Carter gaining control over TNA. Every since, they've been on a downward slope. It isn't even necessary to blame Hogan or Russo here. This bitch hired them.

I feel more sorry for him then WWE, he was the number 1 powerlifter in the world but had to go to WWE to support his family and now hes made into a huge joke. Kinda sucks for him.

in terms of actual talent...no but in terms of ECW run, when Big Show left, Henry was the best heel on the show and I loved when he destroyed guys after facing them.

Scott Steiner in the WWE. They had this big build up for him with HHH and which brand he'd sign with. Then the match happened. I don't think he ever got a rematch, he fell into a tag team with Test and ended up leaving.

He was never #1 nor was he ever the World's Strongest Man, but his powerlifting was impressive, I'll give him that.

There wouldn't be a TNA if Spike didn't give them a timeslot and a venue and pump copious amounts of cash and talent into the company.

Actually I know alot about this since one of my best friends was a weighlifter so I always heard about weight lifting from his friends and him.

He holds a shit load of powerlifting achievements and even a world record. He also won the 2002 Arnold Classic and I've read articles in major weight lifting magazines that said when he left he was the #1 and had he not left he'd still be one of the top power lifeters in the world.
