I think there is two that really hurt wrestling in general.

Thats when WCW fired Bishoff, hired Russo, AND made Thunder a TV show. Those were the building blocks for the death of WCW.

And when ECW went to TNN. If ECW got a somewhat decent TV deal and Paul Heyman didn't mismanage his buisiness, the world of wrestling would be completly different.

It was a main event that absolutely NOBODY wanted to see. Goldberg sucked, and was GIVEN title runs, and was leaving. Lesnar was talented but was leaving, so they had to put SCSA as the ref to pop the hostile WM XX crowd so the show wouldn't end on a bad note. It was a huge failure, but mostly because of Goldberg

^ Call me stupid but i dont get it?

For me, a fan watching wrestling for only two years, I was so excited for this match, I was busting. Those were my absolute two favorite stars at the time, I had no internet so I had no idea either guy was leaving, they tack on Austin as the guest referee, which wasn't that bad back then, now I look back and that was a mistake. The match was a bomb and a total let down for me. Really put a sour taste in my mouth and was a big reason why I hate WMXX.

That was the biggest fail I have seen in wrestling. I don't consider stupidity like guest hosts or hornswoggle fails, I consider meaningful content such as big matches and big rivalries that bomb, I consider those fails. That was certainly the biggest bomb of a larger than life match I have ever senen.

Ok. Thanks for the explanation I took a break from wrestling around late 2003- Early 2004.
