Now in an attempt to get back on topic, I will say this, Sid vs Show would have been a decent upper mid-card match that we probably would have seen in WCW if Sid wasn't in WWF at the time. I wouldn't really want to see it, and I'm glad it didn't happen, but it would have been much better than Khali vs Show, or Khali vs El Gigante, or Show vs El Gigante, etc.

Since when is complaining offer solutions to real problems? I thought the literal defintinition was to express feelings of pain, dissatisfaction, or resentment.

El Gigante and Khali are the best examples of people who never had a right to hobble into a ring. Both were not in shape to even attempt to take real bumps or properly protect people in the ring, Khali's chokebomb is a dangerous move and that was proven in his training.

I thought the move he did that caused the death of that guy was a flapjack, not his chokebomb, but either way, that should have been a big red flag that WWE has somehow ignored.

Show has definitely proved he can work, but he couldn't back when the match against Sid would have happened. I'd almost group him in the Khali/Gigante group when we're talking about the Show of the 90s. Athletically he was in good shape, but WCW really rushed him without giving him any real training. If he would have had training back then and combined with the fact that he was in pretty good shape, his matches would have been much more enjoyable.

The best time Show and Sid would've matched up was probably around 98, atleast Sid finally learned some tricks of the trade enough to pass off as someone who could whip your ass. Big show was very slim back then and could've bumped for him and seeing as the fans back then were easier to please, would've garnered favorable reactions from them.

I don't think it would've Punk/Joe or Bryan/Ziggler but it would've passed off as a good match between two "monsters".

Plus they could've always just stiffed the shit out of each other. People always respond to that.

I would say Show is in his best shape since about 95 right now. 98 was the start of his decline, he has proven one of the better big men in recent years, but not the talent he promised in WCW.

Sid was fucking horrible.

He couldn't even pull off a double axe handle without botching the shit out of it and breaking his leg.

Couldn't agree more. The only way to get him over was in squash matches, but even then those could only get him so far.

I'm glad WWE ignored Khali's training because if I remember correctly whatever move it was the guy tried to grab Khali on the way down and killed himself for not trusting Khali. Of course, I'm sure a really inexperienced guy like Khali would probably be hard to trust anyways.

Also, Yokozuna was good for his size but he was way out of shape by the time 1996 rolled around. So his feud with Vader who was out of his shape himself for the majority of WWE run was just bad timing.

About all I got viewing these last few pages.

It was meant for everyone to watch the thing so they can see people who actually know what they are talking about give their views on the people you are slagging.

It is pretty simple why these two never faced each other in the ring, they never worked for the same company at the same time. Show debuted in WCW in 95 and worked there until the start of 99. Sid worked for WWF from 95 to 97 and then went to WCW in mid 1999 so they missed each other by a few months. Sid then suffered that sickening leg injury in 2001 and never made it back to the top companies since then.

This is odd that these two giants have never really had a match before. It would be cool to see them in a match, though, and figure out who would win the match!
