Money in the Bank Big E Rumor

Now I am not sure how true this is, hence it just being a rumor, but this could mean something pretty big. This could possibly mean that down the road, Big E may end up being the first (true) black major champ (holding the big belt). I know I said I wanted Bobby to be that guy but I like Big E and he deserves the spot.

According to Give Me Sport, Mike Johnson of PWInsider claims The New Day star will join Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, The Miz and Rusev in the bout to kick off a singles career.

WWE announced that The New Day and The Bar, consisting of Sheamus and Cesaro, will go head-to-head next week on Smackdown in London for a place at Money in the Bank.

Johnson insists that this is the right time to break up the legendary tag team while they are popular and give Big E a singles run starting with a qualifying victory at the O2.

He said: “Big E moves onto the Money in the Bank match. He makes the most sense.

I think Big E is a fantastic performer...he's big, strong, fast & has charisma for days.

I could (& would like to) see Big E as a World/Universal Champion.

His race/skin color doesn't mean anything to me personally...I just
think he's a great performer who deserves a "big" push.

Yeah, I don't think it will be Big E will get it before Bobby. I mean neither guy is over, but I think Big E as a solo act wouldn't get much attention like Bobby would. Also, I have heard the rumored "third" MitB briefcase is for a shot at the tag team titles, but who knows.

To me, the New Day has been stale for well over a year now but I never cared for them really to begin with.

Very true. I do like the idea of them never turning on each other. I know its wrestling but I like the idea that they remain friends for years to come. Maybe you could split them up without having to turn them on each other.

Big E is one of the most talented persons on the WWE roster... he has the physicality, the mic skills, the charisma, and the agility needed to make him a big star... when he got the IC title years back he was over at that time... he's been over with New Day and he will be over again as a solo performer. I cannot wait to cheer Big E on.. he's been one of my favorites for years now.

I re fell in love with New Day last year because of their fued with the Usos. If Big E wins MitB and becomes the first black WWE Champion (No, Lashley winning the Universal Championship doesn't count for the same reason Booker T winning the World Heavyweight Championship doesn't count) would be a decision I would whole heartedly support

Big E is cool, but Kofi is underated. People that like New Day, tend to expect Big E to do all the work. Kofi would make a good champ. In-ring performance, he is definitely up there with Styles.

Doubtful. Kofi and Big E would make it. Woods would be like Enzo... All mic, no wins.
