Best Video Game Tournament Bracket

First half of the first bracket has been completed. Two major upsets according to seeding saw SVR 07 beat out Super Metroid and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater beating out Fallout 4. Resident Evil 4 was also upset by Super Mario 64 and Final Fantasy Vi was beaten out by Batman: Arkham Asylum though Final Fantasy VIII did move on.

Second half of the Super Mario World match-ups will be posted tomorrow.

Not a single one was nominated somehow. I was shocked myself even though one didn't make my list. Like they didn't even miss the cut, 0 nominations whatsoever lol I think if we do game franchises instead of single video games in the future then it'll for sure have a run though.

Updated the Super Mario World bracket as the first round is officially over for our first bracket. Only two upsets this week as classics Pac-Man and Street Fighter II were defeated by Gran Turismo 2 and Halo 2 respectively.

The first half of the Red Dead Redemption II Bracket is over and there were quite a few "upsets" according to seeding. Wolfenstein 3D had the slight upset over Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, as did Burnout 3 over Time Crisis II. Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Grand Theft Auto III knocked out much higher seeded Madden NFL 21 and the Resident Evil II remake.

Match-ups tomorrow will feature games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain, Final Fantasy VII, and Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind.

Great job on this Chris! I've been really enjoying myself voting in each thread, it's been giving me something to look forward to.

Some great games there. I really love Pro Skater 2 and Here Comes the Pain might be my favourite WWE related game.

All the first-round match-ups for the Red Dead Redemption 2 bracket are finished. Quite a few upsets this round (by our seeding...not necessarily by standard gaming conventions) as Perfect Dark defeated Gex 3, Sonic the Hedgehog knocked out Driver 3, and in a huge shock Final Fantasy VII has been upset by Gears of War. Our first tie also happened as Bubsy has tied with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Next, we'll move to the Grand Theft Auto V bracket with match-ups posted tomorrow featuring the bracket's namesake, the original Resident Evil, plus fan-favorites in Conker's Bad Fur Day, and The Simpsons Hit & Run.

First half of the Grand Theft Auto V bracket is final, not too much of note this time other than Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 narrowly upsetting A Link to the Past. Also a slight upset by seeding as Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic defeated Days Gone.

Next up for tomorrow we'll see Goldeneye 007, Super Mario Kart, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and possibly my favorite match-up of the entire tournament: NBA Jam vs WWF No Mercy

Grand Theft Auto V bracket has been updated with the recent results. Major upset this time as Super Mario RPG barely beat out Super Mario Kart, Mario infighting ya hate to see it. Metroid Prime also had a pretty big upset against DBZ Budokai 2 though probably not anywhere but this site We also saw a tie between Fallout 3 and Super Mario Galaxy.

Coming up tomorrow we have our first look at the Super Mario Bros. 3 bracket featuring that legendary game along with Chrono Trigger, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, the original Legend of Zelda and DOOM!
