The first half of the final bracket polls are done, and the second half will be up tomorrow. The Super Mario World and Red Dead Redemption 2 brackets were also updated accordingly on the main page. A major upset saw Resident Evil 3 advance out of a triple threat that included my personal favorite, Ocarina of TIme also in an even bigger upset, Grand Theft Auto 3 knocked out the very high seeded Mortal Kombat II. One tie occurred as Gears of War was knocked out of a triple threat where Breath of the Wild and Red Dead Redemption 1 tied....which I believe is another instance of Breath of the Wild tying as it has every round so far

The second half of round 3 is complete, tomorrow we'll move onto the sweet seventeen (there was a tie). Upsets this round include a major favorite in GoldenEye being defeated by 87th seeded Diablo II, along with Mario Kart 64 knocking out 71 seeded Fallout 3, The Walking Dead defeating Halo 1, GTA Vice City defeating Mass Effect 2, and our first bracket leader has been knocked out as Super Mario Bros. 3 lost a triple threat match that was won by Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Up next we have matchups including 4 GTA games, 2 Batman games, 2 Red Dead games, and 4 Mario games

The elite 8 has been decided which means we're finally at the finals for each of our brackets. This week saw a major upset in Batman: Arkham Asylum knocking out #1 overall seed, Super Mario World. There was a slight upset where Mario Kart 64 defeated Diablo II as well but both could be considered underdogs at this point.

Tomorrow will see the following bracket finals:

Batman: Arkham Asylum vs Super Mario Bros.
Grand Theft Auto V vs Mario Kart 64
Grand Theft Auto Vice City vs Grand Theft Auto IV
Red Dead Redemption 2 vs Red Dead Redemption

The final four is set and the winners of each region are final.

In the Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V brackets, both highest seeds advance, but in the two Mario brackets representing Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 we saw Grand Theft Auto IV and the cinderella story of Batman: Arkham Asylum advance to the finals.

The finals are set, unsurprisingly and all Rockstar match-up Number 4 seeded Red Dead Redemption will face number 2 seeded Grand Theft Auto V with the poll going up tomorrow. Batman: Arkham Asylum had a very respectable Cinderella run and even garnered a good amount of votes against RDR2. We almost had a triple threat Rockstar battle in the finals as GTA V only beat out GTA IV by one vote to advance.
