I really like the concept but I think that the effects on the Punk image looks a bit weird. Maybe if the image was crisper it would be more effective.

There's just not really any consistency or style going on at all. Just a pointer, though: NEVER resort to changing the blending options or lowering the opacity of your renders. It never turns out well.
