I think the Beastie Boys did alot more for hip hop then people give them credit for...they introduced it to "surburban white kids" and basically broke down the color barrier that was up at that time way before Eminem, Paul Wall, Vanilla Ice or one other white rapper came along...and the best thing about the Beastie Boys is they were real they didn't talk about stupid shit like selling drugs they made songs for people to enjoy...

just my opinion...

By the way what ya'll think about that dude Cashis from Orange County?

Anigma is right The Beasties broke down the barrier and made it cool for white kids to listen to rap. They made party music, nothing negative. Love Sabotage, and Ch Ch Check it Out

Cashis only heard a little bit from him but I think he can be pretty good. If Eminem signed him he must have skills. lol

Straight To The Bank is tight his lyrical ability is still the same but that Amusement Park shit is gay...it's basically a remix to Candy Shop...

50 is more a entreprenuer than a rapper. I like 50 and all but i find it funny that out of all of G-unit is he is the weakest lyrically with Yayo. Buck and Banks are lightyears ahead of Yayo and 50

^^^agree but 50 is still the highest selling rapper on G-Unit...Buck and Banks went brick...eventough album sales don't mean shit...and Banks and Buck are the only good rappers out of G-Unit...50 talks when he raps or so it seems to me but he can still write catchy songs and occasionally a good song...all Yayo does is scream on the mic...I hate Yayo...

yeah 50 aint dropped nothing in 2 years. Buck and Banks did alright on their first albums. When Yayo dropped thats what started the drop off, his was the first to flop, then Olivia, then Mobb Deep, then Banks, now Buck. Lets see how 50 does when he releases his next cd. Im sure it will do better than the rest of G-unit but lets see if he still does significant numbers
