“Or (Chris) Weidman, or the winner of the Cuban (Hector Lombard) vs. (Tim) Boetsch),†Vitor told TATAME, on his potential opponents.

“I’m waiting for my confirmation on the Rio card, see who’s gonna be my opponent. Nobody send me anything yet. I believe I’ll get an answer on that next weekâ€.

Hector Lombard makes his UFC debut this Saturday, putting his 25-fight undefeated streak on the line.

“He’s good, an Olympic athlete. He’s tough. Let’s wait, on looking forward (his debut),†Belfort said, weighting on Chris Weidman’s knockout win over Mark Muñoz, last week.

“Muñoz has no guard., he’s not a Jiu-Jitsu fighter. That’s a wrestler vs. wrestler matchup, who got to the top position would win. He was tagged, that’s itâ€.

Belfort guaranteed he’s not worried with Weidman’s game on a potential bout, guaranteeing he has the perfect answer for the American’s takedowns and ground and pound.

“I don’t care what he’s gonna do, I know what I’m gonna do: go for the knockout or the submissionâ€.

Lombard/Belfort seems like it could be an exciting fight, wouldn't mind Belfort/Weidman either. It will help clear things up in the MW division.

Always nice to see Belfort when he decides to let his hands go and just knock people out.

I'd actually take Lombard over Belfort, it'd be a great fight though. I think Lombard is going to get a title shot with Silva, so him taking out Vitor would do him a lot in making a case.

Belfort/Lombard is the easiest fight to make ever, both are clones of one another and would be exciting while it lasted.

Boetsch is a tough fucking dude though and that's no gimme fight for him.

Belfort vs. Weidman would be destruction. Vitor would gas in 2 minutes and Chris Weidman would be all over that bum. I think Vitor would beat Hector Lombard though.

Vitor gas in 2 minutes? What are you talking about? He took a light heavyweight weighing Anthony Johnson and whipped him and it took more than a couple minutes and he still looked fresh.

Vitor should just fight Wanderlai.

His run towards a title is gone.

At the UFC 149 Presser today Dana said he was going to make an announcement on the 185 division this Saturday after UFC 149. Possibly a tournament to decide whoever fights Silva next.

Actually this is my general Idea of how it would look. I'm leaving Belfort out of this.

-Bisping/Stann vs Belcher
-Weidman vs winner of Boetsch/Lombard
or
-Belcher vs Weidman
-Bisping/Stann vs winner of Boetsch/Lombard

Could be wrong and Dana could swerve everybody but him saying he has a crazy mapped out plan for the 185 division just screams that he's planning to set up a tournament.

Lombard would be at the bottom of this tourney considering how sorry his performance was in his Tim fight. Tim is definitely starting to make a name for himself.

Boetsch ruined Uncle Dana's plans, he will get nothing until there is noone left.

Think Okami 06-2010.

Weidman gets the title shot now.
