I had a few surprise omission but the last two guys picked two of them so my list of shocking omissions is

Half the crew had to pick a different song at least once
No picks from Weezer, Ninja Sex Party, Scott Bradley's Post Modern Jukebox, Hayseed Dixie, or Richard Cheese, Leo, and Lounge Against the Machine. The last five are pretty well known cover bands.

Just some thoughts, You Really Got Me is a great cover of the Kinks; Along the Watchtower is a fucking all-time great cover, Hurt's a Johnny Cash song, regardless of whether it was originally a cover. Also I would have chosen The Man Who Sold The World if it wasn't the Nirvana cover, but rather the Midge Ure cover. Also I picked Smooth Criminal over Sloop John B, but both songs are great. I definitely implore folks to listen to the acapella version of Sloop John B. if they can, that second verse is like the heavens opening up to the listener.
