legit one of my favorite thrash sounds...period? not the best band i nthe world but Jeff Waters is so damn good and unique in his riffing. they just hit different but still raw as fuckI hate that Jeff and I have the same taste in Music, but Annihilator is so good.
Yeah, but raw old school thrash is the best thoughlegit one of my favorite thrash sounds...period? not the best band i nthe world but Jeff Waters is so damn good and unique in his riffing. they just hit different but still raw as fuck
really is all about the tone and distortion to me as well, Im with you, that sound is the fucking bestYeah, but raw old school thrash is the best though
Thought you were about to post a pic of Murder One, lolcan all thank this dude for like a good decade plus of amazing metal guitar sounds
More just logic fight, a great musician will sound amazing on any setup but you still want the right gear for the right sound. The 5150 i posted was a staple of metal sound n part of history. Ig i dont really understand why ck felt the need to word it that wayMUSICIAN FIGHT!!!!

Anytime I'd sit in on sound check for my guitarist, using his exact same settings...I never once sounded like him. The correct answer is both, but I side 51% hands over 49% gearIve been playing guitar for 2 decades and your tone comes from your amp and pickups . Technique obviously matters the most but cmon now, gear matters lol
Yes but his sound would be slightly different on a different. guitar and amp. The fact u cant replicatw his sound doesnt mean the gear isnt a factor. Switch ur pickups position on any electric guitar, it doesnt sound the same when you switch. The difference is that your guitarist has mastered his instrument. Trust me, i still fucking suck and can hide a lot of my faults behind a superior setup. Anectodal as well but ya. Main point is not all amps and pickups are equal and cheaper shit still has limitations.Anytime I'd sit in on sound check for my guitarist, using his exact same settings...I never once sounded like him.
