100%. Hogan took them to the top so they played ball.

Though after DX formed Hall and Nash did spend some time trying to go back to WWF in late 1997 / early 1998, but that changed fast they realized th money train was still in WCW with Hogan.

Or even Hog Wild since it's basically a biker's rally. How outside is that?

The bikers would have cheered the heels. I know the NWO were known for being cool heels. But for that initial reveal you wanted the crowd heat.

Oh and Uncle Dave told you all first Mabel was going to be "the third man" :lmao

Is that a bad one then? Only have vague memories of it. I know many of the matches will have a Alliance VS. WWF theme. I wanna say the main event was Angle VS. Austin VS. RVD?...

Nah No Mercy 01 ruled, that was the main event but the best match was Jericho/Rock in the semi-main.

It might of taken a Day and a Half to download Bash at the Beach this was the first time I saw the PPV since it happened in 96. Mysterio vs Psicois was amazing as you would expect two guys who have been Wrestling tons of Thousands of times by this point in Mexico. I always felt those two could of wrestled blindfolded because both guys trusted the other out there to due certain moves that not necessary they could do with other Wrestlers on the Roster. WCW loved Rey Rey so much he fought Malenko the first next night on Nitro and won the CW Title. Psicois would have a heck of a bout of his own with Eddie Guerrero, but loss in the end.

The Clobberin if you will battle between The Nasty Boys and Public Enemy was fun. Those guys were swinging for the Fences throughout as both teams looked great loving the brawl with each other. Malenko really took Disco to school in their Match and you could see I could end this guy's life anytime I felt I wanted to. Disco had a couple of hope spots and showed potential to be something, but ultimately he was worried more about styling and less about getting the win. Flair wins the US title via Woman with her Heel. If theirs a Woman I needed to protect my back and help me out when I needed it, Sherri and Woman would be my top 2 picks.

Outsiders vs Sting/Savage/Luger. Man was this done so perfectly I feel. Luger gets hurt early leaving it 2 on 2, and then Savage gets a little hurt and Sting gets pummeled on for like forever. Sting showed plenty of fight as he always does, but it wasn't enough to stop the Outsiders and the Hostile Takeover. Back in 96 think among if we had Social Media and the Dirt Sheets/Rumor Mill was like it is today, imagine the chaos with all of this. For sure I never thought Hogan would go Heel. I remember in 95 Hogan wasn't so the hero like he was before to people who were growing up, but a Heel turn for sure wasn't looking like his future to me. Shawn Michaels I thought would be the third man, but I was wrong, but Hogan was the perfect to make the third man. He had the history with WWE it made sense and Interview after and the chaos in the Ring put this over the top.
