Oh true, either way my point was basically they didn't consider the PPV themes they just booked the angle with the same PPVs they had scheduled lol Would have been cool if it was built towards Fall Brawl and the main event was a WarGames match tho

I think Bash was picked because Hogan debuted at the event 2 years earlier. On top of that, Bash was one of their higher bought events. Which is why they used them in 1997 and 1998 to do the celeb tag matches.
