Backstage Notes on Brodus Clay

- An interesting story regarding Brodus Clay is that when he finished shooting a movie for WWE Studios earlier this year and asked what WWE creative had planned for him, officials said they had no idea and suggested he come up with an idea for himself. Brodus came up with the idea of being a monster heel that doesn't sell for the babyfaces, then beats them up and inducts them into his personal "House of Pain", similar to World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. Brodus reportedly was told that it was a great idea.

omg lol if that is true that is beyond fucked up that his idea went to revive Henry's career to make him a top heel and now Brodus can't even get a chance to debut. I really feel sorry for the guy.

lol Brodus got his idea stolen but I think it suits Henry much better. Can't wait to see him debut though, he will definitely dominate. I would personally like a feud between him and Henry sometime in his career, it could be pretty cool or it could just be really slow and boring.

If true that is a pretty poor effort by WWE Creative. Hopefully they can at least come up with something good for him for when he eventually makes it back onto television.

It's so typical of WWE creative to steal an idea from a young guy and use it for some loser who's never accomplished anything that's retiring next year.

Henry has actually accomplished quite a lot in the past few years. Yes his early years were bad but he has more than made up for that with his recent work. He was excellent as ECW champion and he has continued that excellent heel persona as World champion. He has been one of the better heel champions in recent years and his current run has been great to watch.
