Cody is a midcard guy.....he's in that Miz territory, not a bad place to be imo.

I personally think that’s his spot too. Not a bad place to be. He’s not beating Roman or Brock or Lashley but he can get title shots on the B PPVs

Yeah Cody is a guy who can always be reliable and work a good match with anyone. BUT is always booked consistently and not being given a fuckin Stardust gimmick. In AEW, he had five star matches that were considered "midcard" matches.

Now that being said, it doesn't mean WWE can't make him a main eventer. Give him a shot, see what he can do.

Cody Rhodes has signed with WWE, multiple WWE sources have confirmed. Rhodes inked his deal about 10-14 days ago.

The current plan is to have Rhodes debut Wrestlemania weekend with the early word among those in the company being that Rhodes will be on the Raw brand.
