- There has been talk of doing a major babyface turn with Big E Langston in the coming weeks.

Big E could be a FUCKING awesome face with how hilarious he is and his quick comebacks. I'm all for this, just get him ring gear that covers his ass.

I would love Langston as a face. He's too likable imo to get over as a heel and could be a badass monster face like Batista.

He's pretty witty on Twitter, I think if they let him show that kind of personality and the physique to back it up he could get fairly over as a face.

Just because he's witty on twitter doesn't mean it'll translate to TV. At the moment I kinda nothing him he's their but he easily fades in the background.

He has been working houseshows in Ontario as pure babyface, apparently to some good reviews. I think he can transfer his natural charisma and comedic side onto TV, he has done some comedic bits with Ziggler that I enjoyed. Still think he should watch Monty Brown TNA matches and take the POOOOOOOOOOUNCE period....as his own.

Dunno why they want to turn him face so quick when he hasn't been given anything to work with as a heel yet.

Maybe because he got over as a face on NXT with the whole 5 count thing. He can easily go back to his roots. Something as simple as the 5 count could get over with the fans just like the PTP dance

Turning Big E face is a smart move. As a heel WWE will just continue to use him as a generic big man, as a face they'd hopefully let him be as funny and witty as he is.

If WWE kept goin' with the comedy segments like that but turned them around on the fans he could just easily be heel like that too. Eventually the fans would just turn him face naturally. I think that would have worked well but clearly WWE had no plans for him outside of AJ/Dolph. Back to the drawing board for this guy.

You never ever ever hear "they're doing nothing with him as a heel, so they're going to turn him face." That's simply not how wrestling works. The usual structure:

1. Boring face/guy who is there
2. Heel turn
3. Character development
4. Face turn
5. Profit

I'm trying to come up with a main-event level face in the last 20 years who wasn't built up exactly like this. I guess with Bret Hart they skipped the whole character development thing, but for everybody else that's how it is.

Why not spend, like, a week or two making Big E interesting before thinking about turning him face? They must not think he's a main-eventer in the making.

I really hope he can do it. The WWE needs more good faces to match the awesome heels they already have. Especially in the midcards. I mean, hell, what if he turns out to be like another guy who everyone thought would be a great face *cough*Miz*cough*

How was Big E. supposed to develop any character when he was a bodyguard? Everyone who covers wrestling were bitching and moaning about how he shouldn't cut promos, be the muscle and all that dumb shit

Monsters can't have personality, big men who are faces can......hence the face turn....derrrrr.
