My favorite lyric has to come from their recent album, Verminous, and it is from the song Dawn of Rats. The lyrics are "Blood of our revenge awash, None sweeter to the taste" just paints a brutal image in your head

yeah they had great guitarists and composition but Trevor's lyrics were always amazing. I think people don't know either that he had a masters in English Literature.

Yeah, that was something I learned a bit later and after I did I was like "Now it makes sense why their lyrics are detailed as they are. The man pretty makes every album a short story"

I'm from Michigan in the Detroit area where they got their start. Got to hang out with him and and the rest of the original lineup before they got really big. He was a huge nerd with a big heart who would talk your ear off about old video games if you let him. RIP man.
