Awful food/drink that you thought would be ok

What is some food or drink that you think is absolutely awful but always thought it would be ok?

My shout for this is Rustler burgers. They are a type of Burger in the UK that you put in the microwave, they always tend to look quite good but taste awfully.

Microwaving a burger should have been the first sign that it was going to suck. That's just wrong on every level.

A lot of people really like them and I was told they were really nice.

From that experience I learnt never to listen to people.

Not that I was expecting it to taste good, but I read loads about beetroot juice being great for you.

Suffice to say, I don't value my health that much. Vile.
