Rate The Promotion Day 2

So 3PW comes in with a 63 there weren't many ratings but hopefully this next promotion will do better.

Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) was an independent professional wrestling promotion which was owned by Rob Zicari, who alongside his wife, Janet Romano, appeared on shows as the owner of the company under the name of Rob Black. The promotion focused on hardcore wrestling and had connections to the Los Angeles porn industry.

XPW was founded in the summer of 1999. It attempted to carve a local niche on the West Coast, particularly Los Angeles, California and its roots can be traced back to Verne Langdon's Slammers Wrestling Federation, which ran shows in Southern California from 1990-1996 and trained many of XPW's future wrestlers.

Many consider the existence of XPW to consist of two different versions: the original West Coast version and the All-New XPW East Coast invasion. The original West Coast version was mainly based in California where controversy and X-rated content were of huge importance. The East Coast invasion featured XPW garnering some success in cities like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh thanks to promotional efforts on the part of Shane Douglas.

Ill give XPW a 8.5/10.

2/10....XPW was crap, plain and simple. It tried to be ECW without the talented wrestlers and pretty much all their shows were horrible. Their announcer (Kris Kloss) was and still is the woerst announcer in wrestling history...Now, he's the announcer of WSX.

- It's believed that WWE has offered former TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong a contract.

Kong wrote the following on Twitter earlier today before deleting it: "My dreams just came true today. I got my dream job. Yes, THAT one."

WWE sources indicate that there has been talks within WWE of signing Kong in recent weeks. Kong's signing hasn't been confirmed yet but sources believe it's a done deal.

- As noted before, WWE sources are reporting that former TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong has signed with the company but it's still not confirmed. One source says that Kong was brought to WWE headquarters in Stamford about a month ago.

- Kong vs LayCool
- Kong vs Beth
- Kong vs Natalya
- Kong vs Melina
- Kong vs Gail Kim

Those would make for some good Superstars mainevents (they get good time on there) and feuds in general

Yeah this stuff was mentioned in the WOW thread. Really hope this is true and that they give her a chance to shine.

This warranted its own thread. I'd say it was awesome news, but you have to know they'll use her for the spectacle and not for her workrate. Bring in all the great wrestlers you want, it won't matter when you give them 4 minutes.

Yeah I agree it warrents its own thread was just saying.

Her best shot to get her rightful in ring time is on Superstars probably. If Kelly can get 15 minute matches on superstars damn sure Kong can.

What you say is true about her working on Raw or SD and that is why I'll most enjoy her Superstars work. They give the girls plenty of time on there to put on solid main event showings and don't make stupid commentary during their matches.

Exactly :lmao

Really amazed at this. Could this be the start of not having just divas, but women that can actually wrestle?

Who's next, Cheerleader Melissa?

I'm hoping they do what they have usually done for some of the new talent and let them choose their own name.

I'm glad that LLUSA let her out her deal, after refusing to let Rebecca Reyes leave for WWE.

I wonder if she will go by Amazing Kong like she did there.
