Smackdown This Week

Without a Smackdown TV taping scheduled for this week, WWE will be taping segments for this Friday's Smackdown episode at the Raw taping. The segments will air in conjunction with footage from the WrestleMania Axxess event in Atlanta.

Shame that there won't be a proper Smackdown this week so that they can build their matches on last time before WrestleMania XXVII. I am expecting one more match to be announced for Smackdown, The Corre vs ShowKane, so I wonder if they will do that on RAW or will wait until two days before the PPV before announcing it.

Would you rather see a proper episode of Smackdown or footage from the WM Axxess event?

There should be a regular episode of Smackdown epscially just a matter of days before the big show itself. Don't forget also, that with SD struggling to compete with Raw as WWE's leading broadcast, to leave it off, and not do the same with Raw is sending a dodgy massege.

That is what I really don't like. This is sending a clear message that RAW is the most important show, they have to keep that on but we can forget about Smackdown this week and show highlights from some fan event. I would rather they have a regular Smackdown but with a heavy focus on WrestleMania. Smackdown needs to be featured on RAW then this week to help make up for it.

They didn't even mention it that's what annoys me. Apparently Axxess matches have nothing to do with storyline either :S

They do this every year. Raw is the where all the angles get pushed hard and Smackdown becomes the countdown show.
