The Undertaker has just lost his 21-year Wrestlemania streak to former UFC fighter Brock Lesnar. It has been revealed that Brock Lesnar was not in fact supposed to win the match and was scripted for the Undertaker to win the match and extend his Wrestlemania streak to 22 wins.

I’m pretty sure most people know that WWE is actually staged and simply for entertainment. All matches are scripted and practiced weeks prior to the actual match, and the winner is, of course, picked before the match is aired, by WWE officials. However, this match was not meant for Brock Lesnar to win

The article doesn't say that Brock himself changed the ending, rather that he was originally not supposed to win it.

Undertaker has 100% creative control over the streak. If he wants to give it up in the middle of the ring he can.

Rumour is that Taker realised halfway through that the match was garbage and that he couldn't go in-ring, and told Brock and the ref that it ends. I bet Vince is fuming. He's missed out on some huge pay-days, especially with Cena having not faced the Streak.

It says Lesnar will be fired for changing the script :dawg:

What I found this morning
We got a few emails from readers asking if the finish in the Undertaker/Brock Lesnar match might have been a botch or an audible. That is not the case at all. That was the planned finish all along. Very few people in the company knew about this. This was super secret and it was Undertaker’s decision to lose the match. I believe that the only people that knew about this finish (besides the people involved in the match) were Triple H and Vince McMahon. I was told that the referee in the match wasn’t told until the day of the show.

Some people are too easily worked. Of course Brock didn't "change the ending" - you really think they would have just let it end like that? :lol1:

I just keep laughing at this idea that Taker only "figured out" he was "dog shit in the ring" once the match started. He knew leading up to this that he wasn't fit to compete.

Just one more reason having this match with Brock (especially if it were to be a streak ender) makes no sense.

It looked like Lesnar was playing patty cake with his punches compared to the violence of the HHH or especially Cena matches he has had since returning.
