Yes but why is he rich? JBL was explained, I think the stock or something, but he got his story explained. With Del Rio it's just he is rich, we don't know why, or how it's just this rich guy who pops out of no where wanting to fight.
Dat Kid From Jersey said:He was given JBL's character, who used to be Ted Dibiase Sr's character. To say that the character doesn't work is to say both were unsuccessful superstars. What's the difference? He's mexican? C'mon ity:
Rain said:That's it... JBL was a Wall Street fat cat who's ego and since of self-entitlement was bigger than his body (man, that's saying something too), Ted Dibiase used his money to influence refs, other wrestlers, and buy titles... All ADR does is buy cars, hire ring announcers, and bitch.

Crayo said:Lol this.
Ted had segments where he was mocking kids with his money and such. JBL was using his money to influence results and really pushing that as his gimmick. ADR has nice cars... BOOOOO, BOO THE MAN WITH THE NICE CAR!!
Dat Kid From Jersey said:Still all revolving around money regardless of the details that make them different. That persona could easily be made successful, Del Rio's just boring. I don't know if it's cause WWE's got him stuck on using one liners or if it's Del Rio's lack of creativity, but the problem isn't with the character. Also Del Rio's a "mexican aristocrat" so wouldn't that bring along an ego with self-entitlement?
Rain said:I agree with this as well, WWE really is giving him nothing, but does anyone believe ADR can pull off a good character either? I don't.
There's a chance Cesaro could.
Stopspot said:Has he really done the five language thing since dumping Aksana though? I don't think so or it has at least not been the major part of his character. Since getting rid of Aksana his character has mostly been about "Antonio's America" with the five language thing as a smaller enhancer, only going on multi lingual rants when he disaproves of something. That I think works but they still need to expand the character
Dat Kid From Jersey said:From the two times I've seen him on Raw they ran a promo of him doing the 5 languages thing and then this week he went out of his way to grab a mic and start talking in other languages.
Undertaker: Crucifies Stone Cold
Cesaro: Speaks 5 Languages
Reason: The fat summum bitches that write for WWE :steiner:
Stopspot said:He has been much more on Smackdown where he has gone on a "road trip" around the United States. Trying American fast food before throwing it in the face of the chef and calling it food for swines. He then went to the studio where Elvis recorded records and buried Elvis when they were in Memphis. He is talking about "The better America, Cesaro's America." And he gets good reactions (physical reactions as in how the crowd stand up and boo him) on smackdown for that.
Dat Kid From Jersey said:if you're talking about Smackdown crowds are edited, I'd have to see it on Raw, just like these promos. I've skipped Smackdown for 2 weeks, excluding this past one.
Stopspot said:And as I said I did not judge the crowds on sound. I judged them by physical reaction.
