I don’t think a ref marries the win at all. If the perfect babyface comeback. First he has to battle against the heel authority, but then the twist is Rock evens the playing field.

One way or the other cody has to have a plan to neutralize the bloodline.

See to me I don't want someone with a PLAN to neutralize the Bloodline, I just want someone to be BETTER than the Bloodline.

It doesn’t really work like that. No matter how good you are if three people are interfering in the match, eventually they’ll trip you up. He needs something to make sure that doesn’t happen.

If that's the case they shouldn't be involved in the match though cause it gives the loser plausible deniability. He could say I lost because of the crooked referee.

If Rock gonna turn I'd probably rather have Rock come out with the Bloodline to do the beatdown and he just Rock Bottoms Jim or Solo.

They could even simplify my idea and just make it so if Cody wins the tag match, bloodline are barred from ringside and will be fired if they do.

That won’t move forward the Rock part of the story though and Cody would have to win twice.

My fanfic was that rock/jimmy/solo are in romans corner and when the ref goes down jimmy and solo go to attack and the rock stops them so cody wins clean

Gene Kiniski's involvement in Flair/Dusty 85 was the reason for the rematch and Flair getting that title back.......iono.
