Gene Kiniski's involvement in Flair/Dusty 85 was the reason for the rematch and Flair getting that title back.......iono.
Yea, so? As if they wouldn't possibly considering it for Reigns/Rock at Summerslam. I mean just over a week ago they didn't even wanted to do Cody/Reigns at Mania in the first place, so... I wouldn't rule out for them to just give Cody the Mania win, because of the backlash last week, but also let him drop the Title a month or two later back to Roman.

Winner of the tag team match sets the championship stipulation. Rock and Roman win. They announce Rock as the special guest referee. Rock actually prevents the Bloodline from interfering allowing Cody to win clean.

They reveal afterwards that this was the play along and why Rock randomly turned on Cody.

Bro......"they didn't want"?

For real?

It's honestly amazing how people treat a company that makes money hand over fist and selling out arenas around the world are this inept and don't know what they are doing.

Y'all act like people like Rock don't take shits without conferencing on what color and texture it should be.

SO Rock doing a Gene Kiniski in Flair/Dusty Starrcade 85 totally won't make Cody look like Miz after Mania 27.
I don’t think you understood the pitch. The rock isn’t going to attack Roman reigns in any way, shape or form he’s going to keep the bloodline out.

So after all that shit about taking his match he should have a hand in "finishing his story"?

Why?

Read the previous posts I made about this.

I mean, currently it makes no sense anyways because he didn’t take it, Cody gave it. This way it was plot to get close to the tribal chief so the Rock could neutralize the bloodline.

Which then leads to the match they wanted next year between the Rock and Roman.

I don’t personally care if Rock stays heel or helps, but this would solve every problem they have and get them to the next story.

It's just not a good pitch imo.

I mean just off the top of my head......Tag match day one.....Rock and Roman lose because of clashing of egos and that brings back the tension between the cousins, Romans day two promo is dismissing Cody and his main attention is on Rock the whole time and Cody wins, "finishes his story"(ugh how I now hate that shit now) and Roman blames The Rock for it and they do the Head of The Table match at Summerslam in a stadium.

I mean, there are a million ways they could do it but your pitch doesn’t solve two of the problems mine did. It doesn’t fix the whole rock and Cody were best friends one day and then not the next day and why Cody was talking about taking a spot when he literally gave it to him, and the other is the bloodline. Dale wanted stakes, too.

We’ll see where they go with it, though.

The hell is he talking about, there aint no way this happened :lol

Is he getting confused with 2016? 2017? whenever it was when they had that backstage segment teasing a match.

Lol that's not even the quote. He's talking about the social media thing where Rock said to "fix it" I'm still confused where he got Mania implications from it but he says "although it was they would love to [face] each other before a giant crowd at a WrestleMania without the idea it was this specific one. " Which I'm assuming he forgot the word "face" where I added it.

But also I think he's wrong anyway bc that didn't air at the press conference live, only on socials but I'm 90% sure it did air on SmackDown as a replay

I'm still confused by it, but as far as I know that 'fix it' part he dropped backstage was shown / heard on the big screen at the press conference.

Yeah I believe the “fix it or I will” part was shown on the big screen live.

But I think they’re wrong on this one. It wasn’t to plant any seeds. Everyone knows Hunter isn’t working again so it wouldn’t make sense to tease it.

I've def seen some fans convinced bc they "wouldn't have done it if not" but I just don't think every confrontation between older talent means they're wrestling? Especially when one has a fuckin' pacemaker but I see people arguing about it every day

It’s insane.

They had the stare down in 2015/2016 whenever it was because they planned on doing the match back then…

But people have to be crazy if they think anyone will allow Hunter to wrestle again

Its Wrestlelamia. A pretty fuckin notorious click bait channel on YouTube so I wouldn't even trust them at all.
