Liked him returning, I always enjoy Paul Bearer, but I didn’t care for the gimmick coming back. For two reasons: the first being I don’t think characters should completely go backwards. You can go back a little, but it should mostly evolve. You can have stables and factions come back, but actual individual gimmicks should be moving forward. The second is I don’t think it was done particularly well. I loved every iteration of the Deadman before he went away in 1999, but something about his 2004-2021 version didn’t draw my interest. I don’t think it helped that he was much older at that point, but mainly he he didn’t even really bring back the original gloves, puffy shirts or anything. It was just a singlet tucked into leather pants and a cowboy hat for some reason. I just didn’t care for it. I’m probably the only person that didn’t.

I also LOVED the Big Evil Undertaker. His 2002-2003 run specifically. Not so much 2000.

I always felt that his 2003 run when he returned at the rumble that year with the "your gonna pay" theme song made him such a badass

Heck I enjoyed his feud with big show that year

Big facts.

This theme is a legit banger and he carried himself with such swagger. I enjoyed both his heel run with it and his babyface run in 2003. I don’t know why they buried him in November. Fans really wanted Big Evil to topple Brock.

I love that theme song he legit was like a lone badass clint eastwood type during those years,

So many good feuds and matches as well

And definitely should've beat brock at least once

I’d say Taker coming back in 04 wasn’t him completely going backwards; it was more so a hybrid of the Deadman and ABA.

He still wore the MMA gloves that he did in 2002-2003, I think for a while he still wore a bandanna under his hat and his still incorporated submissions into his arsenal unlike the original deadman.

The first year they went hard with the supernatural stuff but by like 2006 he was already a lot more grounded

I feel like Triple H has told the Rock, "man we cant have you out there talking for 30minutes. we have an entire show to run" and rock just goes, "ok I'll do it on twitter then."

WrestleMania XX was my very first mania, and will always remain my favorite for nostalgic reasons.
Mine is 1 and 3 as I watched them as a very young wanger as I am old, but those two were amazing to see live at a friend's house for the first 3 or 4 WM's.

Also very excited for this year's WM.

As to the discussion about WM50.

I would Guess a Bron run as champ could be in the cards at that time.

Mine was 2. I remember it quite vividly but I am not completely sure how I was able to see it. But I have a distinct memory of watching it live.
