I honestly hope not. Not that I am a huge fan of all the titles and a lack of support for all of them but with the amount of people on the roster they need them all.

Actually, I hope they do. I understand the need for two championships, but I feel they have run their course. I'd like there to be one champion because it would mean more. Additionally, merging the contenders will lead to more variety in match options. Obviously, WWE might still stick to their core guys, but the chance is there to eliminate having the same main event 3 and 4 pay per views in a row if they merge the championships.

Then others due to roster size will be lost. Guys like Dolph Ziggler will not get a WHC shot again due to to many top tiered guys. We wouodnt have people like DB as WHC because it would he bottl necked with Punk, Orton, Big Show, Cena, Lesnar, Kane, UT, Christian among others. Unless they plan a huge mass releasing of their roster it will hurt them to some degree with less chance of some people we love now not getting a chance. While like I said before I don't like all the titles but it serves a purpose.

merging of the titles would be fucking stupid and waste for all the talent they have right now... so I am sure that means they are gonna do it

I kinda like the idea, I mean at some point the top guys now will retire and the guys like Ziggler and them you're worry about them not using will be pushed into that spot.

Cena will NEVER RETIRE (he's our HOGAN)..... now in all seriousness... yes, besides Randy is living on the edge one more strike and it'll be interesting to see what happens... Punk is going to retire if his body doesn't feel well, Lesnar is not there forever, neither are Show, Henry and Kane...

There's still enough talent fir two world titles so I don't like the idea. But wwe makes things work so I'll give it a shot

Yes this is all true and all but combine both titles groups of competitors and who do you have now.

Cena
Orton
Daniel Bryan
Alberto Del Rio
Mark Henry
Kane
Undertaker--although he will not wrestle for the title again.
Christian
CM Punk

These are people who have been feuding for it lately. Past champions or people who were in the mix before

Rey Mysterio
The Miz
Jack Thwagger
Wade Barrett
Ryback
RVD
Dolph Ziggler.

That's all I can thi.k of off the top of my head right now.

This was the issue back in the 80's besides Hogan not dropping the strap and why Hot Rod, Jake the Snake, and Ted Diabiase were never champions. One title to rule them all. I actually prefer the brand split with its own titles as long as they kept them separate and ran them like two real companies instead of one with a fake second. Shit I would cancel Smackdown and restart Nitro with its own company and wrestlers. Fuck the draft and make the shows seem like real competition, but this is all wishful thinking and we will have a unified title for too long and I het Vince cuts half his roster. There is no need for 30 or 40 of them if you unify every belt. Keep your same top 20-30 guys and work them til they fall apart since that is what everyone wants to see anyways.

Having two world titles devalues one of them if not both. TLC will be the first PPV to have the WHC in the main event since HIAC 2010, that blatantly means one means more than the other.

As for making it more difficult for others to win the belts? Good. Too many guys have had pointless World title reigns these last few years. Jack Swagger shouldn't be a former WHC, neither should Dolph Ziggler. It should be a bigger deal becoming a World champion of the biggest company in the world, not something you luck into.

if there is less for them to compete for then their will be less need for undercard guys and we get more and more of the same recycling of shit we get now with the log jam of Old Guard Main Eventers they are all pretty much just taking up two shows as it is…if we get rid of the WHC then their will be even less for other people to do…the guys we like like the Sandows, Cesaros, Big Es, Reigns', & etc will be even less likely to get those main event shots…the best way to fix this is to go back to what Brand Extension was meant to be.. Two Shows treated as different Company's and keep half on raw and half on SD then switch em around once a year via the draft…but they won't and I feel they won't do the unification cuz they just introduced the new WC Belt so that would be ridiculous

The one thing I noticed seeing the two belts side by side Monday night was how much better the WHC belt looked than the WWE belt. Still looks good and classy.

I said this a month ago and i'll say it again: Big Gold looks smaller. Especially after it was next to the WWE Title

It looks smaller than normal but I thought it just looked better overall.
