If his plan was to CC you and get you lynched (it was if he is scum), it has seriously low mileage as a plan. So unlikely that it was him, you should have ruled him out in fact, not checked him

If he's my target, he has strong motivation to lynch me. Notably, I haven't revealed what it does if I find my man (aside from the locked role), which means it could be anything and he'd have that fear
