16 is a child legally in most countries. those uk laws are essentially there to protect predators. its like scientifically proven that teenage brains arent even fully evolved. so that would be ONE many difference.

its legal to stone gays and adulterers to death in other countries. Doesnt mean its acceptable to the rest of the world. if you think its cool to get blown by a 16 year old, i strongly suggest you re-evaluate your values. that is all.
Their brain isn't that much more developed by 18. Using that argument people shouldn't be able to consent until 26.

I think there's a big difference between stoning people and getting a blow job from someone of age in your home country.

I didn't really want to get into, but since you're trying to pant me in a certain way 16 is actually the most common age of consent in the world. Most countries are around 16 and even in the United States 30 of the 50 states it's 16. 18 is this arbitrary number people pick out of their brain.

I get that most people felt a certain way so he needed to go away for the heat to die down, but my point is he should be allowed to comeback, and you seemingly agreed with me so I'm really not sure why you're going so hardcore back in the other direction on me. You either agree or you don't.

Im not hardcore in the other direction, I just find it bizarre to go to such lenght to excuse it (you're still doing it in this post).

So yeah, I find it fucking bizarre that people go out of their way to diminish actions/treating him like he's the victim (which optically, thats what it looks like here). No one is stopping him from getting a job. He got caught doing something fucked, and now he's paying the price because that's what happens when you are a public figure and your revenue and worth is directly attached to if people actually want to see you.

I'm fully supportive of him rehabilitating himself and getting back in the ring one day, but it's a whole other thing to act like he was treated dirty just because technically the law was on his side. I think we both agree, at heart, that what he did was morally fucked up and wrong, yes? So let's stop acting like he got done dirty, and if anything, is lucky that he is young, likely has a lot of money saved up, and hasn't been charged with a crime, therefor can work any other job. I think what happened to Marty was more than fair.

Because you tried to spin it in a way that's not accurate (you called her underage). In his country he did nothing illegal. Hence no charges. Was my point.

I'm sorry that I don't think that her voluntarily TAKING him to her own room and then blowing him in the hallway isn't a banish him forever situation.

No one is stopping him from getting a job.

These two talking points contradict each other.

And you can't know if people want to see him until someone takes a chance on him and see how it affects their ability to draw.

I think him being fired by ROH after he was already suspended for 6 months is a little dirty, yes. Like you said he should've have been able to make amends and then go back to work. I don't personally think he should have gotten a blowjob by a teen in the hallway, yeah, but I don't really seem to care as much you do though because I don't see much difference if she had been 18 is my other other point. I think people see a stark difference where there is none. That said, I do think ROH suspending him was fine, and they probably should have sent him to some kid of school like AEW did to Sammy for the rape jokes and maybe some other outreach things for a bit and he should have returned to his job at some point.

It'll be a year he's been sitting home and I think at some point someone should give him another chance or I'll definitely think he was done dirty.

That's just how I feel as someone that wants to see him do something. I feel he was one of the rare indy guys that had a character, a look and presence.
