Because they're a business; a wrestling business that shows no desire to use any effort to "entertain" and put on great shows with the best possible quality available. Ignorance. They choose to ignore any motivations to enhance the product they place in front of the viewers and expect the viewers to react the way the wwe wants them to without even considering what fans really want. Now in the 1990's they cared a lot because the company had rivals to go up against which put them in positions to "must respond" in situations with PPVS and Shows but now with the lack of competition if anything at all they sit back and choose to ignore any effort because they can. People still eat up the crap they put out without ever losing any concern for the business to drop. In any case the wwe is backed for centuries to come because they have so much backing them they'll never lose enough to "exit" the scene therefore giving them the ignorance they choose with the laziness to decline to advance in any way shape or form. At the end of the day they will show lack of motivations, effort to bring out the best of their product because nobody will do anything to change it. Unless ROH or NJPW become a serious enemy they won't do anything for whatever length of time they choose and fans continue to eat it up.

Lack of competition and motivational factors is not ignorance. They are fully aware. They are a monopoly. A company not bothering to improve the quality of their product/service is not ignorant as they have no reason to do so. It's natural. There has to be a reason for change. Hardcore fans need to stop eating shit and start being part of the anti WWE movement. I don't see how its ignorant. A business putting energy into something that provides no gain is not ignorant.

But the again WWE do alot of good work. They have a fanbase for a reason so whatever

What would be the reason for him to return as a heel? Seems random. Bring him back face then do the heel turn.

Because it would make a bigger impact than a simple cheap shot in a tag match. It's not random at all... nobody wants to see him as a face, it's boring & they're not doing anything with him. He's a psycho, that's his character, let him be that.

Just have him show up out of the blue & chair shot the FCK out of Rollins, put him in a straight jacket or some shit

What's the fucking reason? What's the motive for the heel turn? What's the storyline? I like my wrestling to make sense. Not heel turns for the sake of heel turns. I like reasons for shit happening. If you abandon logic then you have WCW 2000

Ellsworth return would be solid. Especially now with Big Cass on Smackdown. The triangle of Cass, Ellsworth, and Carmela would be fun. It's not like Cass is gonna seriously make it and become a top guy who is over with the majority of crowd at this point. Especially on this current Smackdown roster that is stacked with much better talent like Styles. Shin, DB, Joe, Jeff Hardy, Miz, and even the potential of New Day becoming main event players , they are all 10 steps ahead of Big Cass and not falling behind. They should have Ellsworth return, and put Rusev, Aiden English and Lana against Big Cass, Ellsworth, and Carmela for their summerslam feud. Be a great pre show match

Don't think that triangle exists tbh

It will if they brought Ellsworth back and itd ne entertaining. It would be the most entertaining Big Cass could get his hands on at this point tbh. He is weighing down the momentum of Daniel Bryan's return. Such a boring and stale feud
