I really don't like the idea of him coming back, but the WWE has been so bad in the last few years.I guess he could be a good asset for the company at this point.

He is a fun character to have around. Good little asset. Don't know why they got rid of him in the first place tbh.I really don't like the idea of him coming back, but the WWE has been so bad in the last few years.I guess he could be a good asset for the company at this point.
I don't see how they are desperate considering they turned down Batista lolwell they're clearly desperate right? They wouldn't even bother if he didn't make any difference in viewers
People need to realise that 99.9% of the roster have to job to the Big Dog. if they don't then you have 99.9/00.1 booking

Are they really desperate for James though? They just want to tell a story and try and help out Carmella. I don't see how they are desperate.James is an easy grab but to your point... they're extremely desperate and James was a good example that they desire his services

I'd be surprised if he had any impact on ratings. I think they want to bring him back because they want to invest more in this Carmella reign. Ellsworth is a inventive way of keeping the title on Mella and avoid Asuka losing clean. Then i suppose they just want the publicity "Hey we bring back a guy who was good for us because we can't book correctly so we'll bring him back to boost ratings we allow to drop" lmafo
WWE ratings are horrific if you compare them to the past. But if you compare it to all the other tv shows they are doing good. 2 million a week in 2018 is not horrific at all.I think they are not desperate, but they have to make the product better before they move to FOX. Because if they don't get good ratings there, they can get cancelled.
Extremely short sighted if you compare ratings now to 2001 and call it pathetic without considering all of the external influences. In the modern wrestling world 2 million a week is the best anyone can get.In wrestling view they're pathetic. In TV view they're "fine" and they're wrestling product so it's horrific.
I'm the first person to say that WWE booking is terrible. I don't know what you mean. It's just that WWE are not struggling to get eyes on their product. This is why WWE have bad booking, they don't care about ratings and ppv buyrates. cuz they don't matter anymore. WWE don't have to produce good content and promote big matches anymoreThe product is bad whether you want to see that or not no matter what right now because the booking is terrible.
