Popp: here in Portland we believe that a running game is the corner stone of any offense, and with this selection we feel we address this need and then some. In his rookie year, this man ran for 538 yds on only 80 some carries and added 300 yards in receiving yards. In his sophomore year in the CFL, in 2020, he ran for 1048 yds, 5 tds, 33 catches and another 300+ yards in receptions. Even more impressive, in only 8 games so far in 2021, he's already ran for 880 yards and 3 tds with half the season left. This man can do it all at running back and is easily the best at his position as well as only being 27 years old, hitting his prime right before our eyes. 6'0 and 233 lbs of pure muscle.
