Alternate WWE Title designs revealed

WWE went through countless proposed designs before settling on the new WWE Championship. Take a close look at some of the unique titles that almost made it around John Cena's waist.

I actually like the Eagle one just needs a bigger strap. Other than that I find the other ones to be garbage and glad they went with the one they have now.

Change the strap color on the first title, and that should have won. Sick design. I love the last one. Should have won by far. Would have been interesting to see WWE do a fan vote for what the fans wanted. The PEOPLE's champion did bring the title in, so it would only make sense. In all honesty, I would take any of these titles over the piece of garbage we have now.

Honestly though, if the first one had a black strap instead of red, that wouldn't be bad either

I agree Chris I was getting worried after the first few comments I think they all look horrible.

The first is basically the spinner with a red strap and more stationary design.

The second looks like something I'd win at a BBQ competition.

The Third is basically the same as what we got and in honesty it'd probably be the best if you took away the bling.

The foruth was a terrible attempt to bring back some history to it.

Makes me glad we got what we did.

I think that was the purpose of revealing these alt belts tbh. WWE's way of saying oh yeah you hate this new belt? Look at what we could have went with instead lol.

I guess I'm the only one that liked all the designs. The last Eagle one looks awesome.

First three are horrible, purely because they look like fucking toys. Seriously, a bright red belt? Why even entertain that idea.

The fourth one would've looked cool, but I think they made the right decision in the end.

Some of the worse looking belt designs i have ever seen, who's creating these 6 year olds smoking crack.

I don't mind the 4th one. Though don't really like the "feather textured" strap. One thing I like on it better than the current title as well as the 3rd title there is the fact that it is a solid faceplate - those other 2 show the black leather strap at the back which I think looks cheap.

As for those others, they just look horribly gimmicky and too toy-like. If they're going to stray further away from the tradtional looking wrestling titles, then at least still make them look badass, legitimate and worthy of being held by a champion.

First and last ones look great, but a bit tacky even by wrestling standards.

Doesn't really scream "prestigious".
