Loved the opening match. I really liked the angle of Scorpio having to step up on short notice and having a killer performance. I also like that JR put him over big in the aftermath. Wonder if Scorpio is destined for any singles success in AEW? I'd be on board.

I fucked with that Cody video package. I'll be happy if/when he wins the World Title. Obviously, I don't want Jericho's reign to end so soon. I'd give it more like six months or so. But Cody deserves to win it. I don't think you can dispute that. The AEW fanbase worships the man.

I'm a little put off by having no interview or video package to lead into this title match. They really just aren't treating the division with much importance, sadly. On the plus side, this is one of the best matches I've seen out of the division yet. They're really killing it.

I agree with most of this, I personally didn't really enjoy the women's match, none of the ones that AEW has done has really hit with me just yet. But that's just my opinion, if you enjoy it that's good tho.

I'm looking forward to Bea Priestley's reign. She stands out way more than any other woman on the roster at the moment. Riho feels like she's really lacking in the star quality department. At least, in an American company.

Yeah, I think Bea would have a good reign honestly. Just hoping they get some more people to build this division up.

They could definitely use a couple more bodies but honestly, they aren't using a lot of who they have. I mean, they have Allie, and we've barely seen her. Sadie Gibbs is supposed to be a hot prospect, but where is she? Emi Sakura and Hikaru Shida are much more legit looking Joshi competitors, and they're also hardly featured. Those are four potential building blocks right there, they just aren't being featured for some reason. But add them to Nyla, Bea and Britt and that's a decent division. Basically, they just need to book them better and give us more to invest in beyond Riho, Britt and Nyla.
