Ok, so technically it wasn't their debut as Rusev first appeared at the Rumble and they've had the little promos at the top of the ramp, however I consider this their actual proper debut.

Lets start with the Ravishing Russian (horrible nickname btw.) I think she has good potential in a Vickie Guererro kind of role. She looks great and I think if they work hard enough and push it hard enough, they can get her heat like Vickie used to with her Excuse Me! chants.

Onto Rusev. I'm still worried that the guy is going to end up as just another generic, foreign heel like Kozlov but I do think he has enough about him to hopefully get past that. He's got a smoking hot manager, his theme music is fucking epic and the guy seems agile as fuck for his build with some nice looking signature spots.

Thoughts on the duo?

Someone in the discussion thread said he is going to be Kozlov 2.0 and that is basically what I see happening minus getting a world title shot like Kozlov did. Just seems like he is going to be too generic for him to actually pan out as anything more than midcard monster who they will after a few months forget about.

I'd be fine with this guy as a solid mid-carder and occasional main event threat. He's already left an impression and it's great to know we're going to see him regularly now. Just please don't let him end up dancing with kids by next year like Tensai.

Monster characters just haven't seemed to last in a really long time.

Deezy, you win 1000 Internets for the Bloodsport reference. This is why i can't quit you lol.

Back on Topic: Rusev is a beast. If they don't totally forget about the guy, he could be that monster int he mold of Umaga.

I love Lana, I think she's the reason why I think this could work.

Impressive stuff from both so far.

WWE's track record record with these types of wrestlers isn't good, so can't see him taking off. Like I said about Rose in the other thread, wouldn't be surprised if he fades away quickly enough.

If she can talk and he can wrestle, I can see him having a good run, but I haven't seen much of either of these two. I've always been a fan of wrestlers from other countries. Is he a talker also? Or does she do all the talking?
