Reigning WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is reportedly in hot water with WWE management after "causing a scene" at last Wednesday's Tribute to the Troops event in Pierce County, Washington.
Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer disclosed in a podcast (posted Sunday morning on F4WOnline.com, available here via subscription) that Lee saw NBC personality Michelle Beadle (who was on hand hosting the event) chat with CM Punk backstage at the event and "freaked out." More specifically, Lee threw an obscenity-laced tired at the popular television personality.

Lee comes off as being very close to the character she portrays on WWE programming, and "not in a good way," according to Meltzer. She is expected to be disciplined for her behavior.

A message Beadle posted the following day on Twitter appears to allude to the situation: "Lost another friend to CGFN....crazy girlfriend neutering. It's real people. Check your buddies. Affects everyone."

Not sure if true but coming from a very credible source. Wonder if this will affect the result of tonight's match..

With a report like this I'd usually wait and see how it played out on TV as you can then get a better indication as to whether this may or may not be true, but I kinda had Nattie down as winning the title tonight regardless because this thing has dragged on for so long and needed a change of pace with the title changing hands.

AJ Lee was told by a WWE producer they were filming a backstage segment for the WWE App (or on dot com) with her and Beadle. When AJ Lee went to rehearse the segment, Beadle acted like she didn’t know what AJ was talking about. WWE officials were also surprised and Lee was pulled aside and berated. AJ tried to explain and was under the impression the segment had been cleared with Beadle and by production. CM Punk, who is AJ’s real-life boyfriend, stepped in and was enraged, believing AJ Lee was setup.

I can see punk being pissed especially if aj was set up.
