Hey, I'm a horrible indy mod and somehow didn't post a thread for AIW's biggest show of the year! I'm sure it doesn't matter and matters even less now that the show is within the next 24 hours but I've decided to put in the work and let you guys know about how awesome of a show it's going to be. So it's time to get last minute hyped, WP!

In the main event, Tim Donst, winner of the Gauntlet For The Gold, challenges Michael Elgin for the Absolute championship and I haven't been hyped for a match like this in quite some time. Tim Donst cut an awesome promo in a lightning storm! Also, Michael Elgin said some things...

Hey, do you know about the great year long feud between Gregory Iron and Veda Scott? That's right, the most intense feud in wrestling is between a woman and a man with cerebral palsy. Both have great promos here and I've included a brutal and controversial clip of Greg and his Iron Curtain beating down Veda as well as his attempt at proposing. Gregory Iron is simply the most twisted man in professional wrestling today.

Remember that awesome Backyard Wrestling video game? Yeah well the two guys on the cover later went legit, up until a month or so ago they were back teaming together but the former M-Dogg 20 turned his back on long time friend Josh Prohibition... Josh is a teacher and wrestles every now and then, Matt Cross has only wrestling, Matt Cross hates part time wrestlers. Well, it's all explained as these two both delivers spectacular promos. Really, you probably only need to watch Cross' in ring promo to get what's going on.

Last year Ethan Page and Johnny Gargano faced off, this year they're doing it again! Gargano gives us the basic promo but Ethan Page really delivers here not rushing it and he does in his room dedicated to The Rock!

Tim Donst has become such an immense promo.

That promo is what I love about Indy wrestling though. He could have cut a promo whenever he wanted, but fuck it, it's starting to thunder & lightning outside, grab the goddamn camera and let's go.

There's a twisted genius to running a woman/handicapped wrestler blood feud.

Yeah, stuff like that is why Donst is my dude. Really hope he's able to get the job done tonight. It would make up for Elgin dethroning Cole for the ROH World championship. Greg vs Veda is probably feud of the year tbh, deserves more eyes on it.

Obviously I'm disappointed to see Elgin retain against Donst but the show still sounds like it was killer. Apparently Josh Alexander also returned to AIW last night now that he's all healed up so I'm guessing they're keeping the belt on Elgin for another match between the two as they got critical acclaim for their last two. Sucks to see that Greg/Veda ended in a DQ, this is the show it's all been building to. Hopefully next show they get the main focus with a No DQ to end the feud.
