Only man I’m kinda meh on is Ospreay/Cassidy and that’s simply cause I’m not as high on Cassidy as most. Ospreay is awesome though so it should still be a good match.

The good thing with Cassidy, even if his gimmick isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and I completely understand that. When it comes time to go in the ring, he’s proven he can put on a pretty good match. Not all of his matches are bangers, because not everyone calls for it. But those that do, he IMO delivers. So with that, and the fact Ospreay is one of the best, oh for sure it will be pretty damn good.

• Tony Khan knew they wouldn't be able to have Okada until the week before the show and Switchblade until a couple of weeks before Forbidden Door.
• We get an in-depth response to the changes that took place to shape AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Obviously there were a lot. Tony Khan says they're so lucky they got back Jon Moxley when they did.
• Tony Khan says Bryan Danielson wanted to compete, but Tony shut him down. He says rarely do they have an opportunity to create a moment like how they're introducing ZSJ's mystery opponent.
• Tony Khan says Kyle O'Reilly's injury changed a lot of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, too.
• Tony Khan says there are already talks for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2. He feels like they have to do a follow up based on the success. He also began talking about WWE having an interesting approach to the 2 night events.
• Tony Khan says that WWE had so much talent that they implemented a brand split. He says sometimes it's hard for AEW to get everyone on their show, and fortunately their depth has helped when facing injuries.
• Tony Khan tells Jaychele Nicole that they're going to announce more tonight for the Buy In of Forbidden Door.
• Tony Khan tells Amy Nemmity that Okada appearing came at a great time, because they needed him with all the injuries that have piled up. He also calls Bryan Danielson's fill-in "a very suitable replacement"
• Okada has told Tony Khan he is a Manchester City fan 17 times.
• Tony Khan says that Orange Cassidy vs. Will Ospreay has been planned for a while for Forbidden Door.
• Tony Khan says booking Forbidden Door has been "unlike anything" he's ever done. Notes that he has a lot of respect for Gedo and Rocky Romero (who has been the intermediary between them.) Says the logistics were a huge amount of work.
• Tony Khan says Forbidden Door has gained 7 figures in revenue so far.
• Tony Khan on the politics between AAA/CMLL impacting Forbidden Door: "I like everyone involved even if they don't work with each other, they are all cool with me."
• Tony Khan was asked if running a PPV so close to Double or Nothing was a test to expand the number of PPV events they do yearly. TK says he doesn't see it as that and says the opportunity aligned with a date that NJPW was available and they took it.
• Tony Khan said he's very open to AEW stars carrying NJPW titles and vice versa.
• Tony Khan likes implementing the interim championship as other major sports like boxing and MMA have done. It creates a high stakes unification match.
• Tony Khan says AEW has a wellness policy in place, but the Moxley/Jeff Hardy situations are categorically different. Moxley came to them and declared he needed help, and they had to wait longer for information before making a statement.
• Tony Khan says Jeff is in treatment and improving, but going out and driving is not comparable to Jon Moxley coming and asking for help. He's talked to Matt Hardy and indicated that Jeff Hardy will retain the support of AEW through treatment.
• Tony Khan indicates to Mike Johnson that there isn't much advance PPV data available as of now. With early FD PPV buys, Khan says the big movement is within 48 hours. 72 hours out are the hardcore buyers and have the usual trends of regular AEW PPV buyers.
• Brandon Thurston asks Tony Khan about the wellness policy. He says help or time off is available to everyone in the company up and down the roster. He prefers they ask for help as opposed to getting in trouble. Tony Khan says there's a testing policy in place in AEW.
• About the possibility of more PPVs in a year for AEW, Tony Khan says he has thought about it but doesn't feel like it's something that is imminent.
