What I meant was, hypothetically if Tony had called, I believe WWE already owes him one. He didn’t get anything in return for that. Which if it’s tried to be said “well it was to honor someone, you don’t get anything in return for that.” Then fair play, but at the same time then WWE still gets nothing in return here, because it’s to honor someone.

But it’s a moot point anyway. Tony probably didn’t ask, video was still good at the end of the day, and Sting got one of the best send offs ever.

I will say Paul has shown AEW a little bit of respect though, and hopefully AEW sees it but the last several signings that WWE has managed to get from AEW they retain their AEW names and presentation. That’s a seal of approval.
