I personally accepted the Sammy face turn easier because I thought the heel turn was stupid as fuck in the first place, fine with it being retconned

I’m honestly just excited to get a solo face Sammy run that actually can work. Because despite what others have said, I believe it can and will work. A lot of the negativity of it mainly comes from the Sky feud tbh.

I will give credit to the Sammy thing a little bit, even if it was kinda quick, they made it make a little bit of sense with Sammy being mad about them using his child without permission. But Jericho just forgiving him so easily is kinda bad still.

The thing is, if you’re good at what you do, you can always write in a narrative story that makes sense, but it isn’t so much the on screen kayfabe that irks me is just the deciding to have him joining the faction only to leave it so quickly after the bothers me like I get you needed someone to fill-in, but like you have 200 people on your roster you could’ve found someone else.

Honestly, like Chris said, they probably just shouldn’t have did the heel turn to start with. So as long as it stays the course now, that will be good.

I was really peeved when the original heel turn happened and wasn't a red herring. I do think they would have stuck to it if not for Kenny's injury tho so the second one was the poorly planned one,I just didn't like the planned one here lol

I agree it made 0 sense Callis would want him in the first place too . dude talking about world class horses and he's out here trying to recruit Jericho's 2nd. what?

I honestly thought Sammy turning on Jericho eventually was always the plan, and I think they did a pretty good job foreshadowing it. I mean when you consider the fact that he used Sammy in two different factions meant to basically be his vanity projects. The only mistake in my opinion on how they did it was they tried to make Jericho the good guy.

I think Callis was talking about potential more than current pecking order. Because even Takeshita technically was like fifth in the elite band of brotherhood when he defected.

Yeah. Honestly I was wanting Sammy to turn on Jericho, but where he(Sammy) the good guy definitely makes the most sense, because like you said, with Jericho using him and everything. Sammy finally fed up with it, and everything. That or Jericho turning on him after they don’t win the tag titles.

That’s what I’m saying. The Jericho appreciation Society? The natural conclusion of that should’ve been them all turning on Jericho and that’s kind of what they did but they did it kind of weekly in my opinion like the other heels kind of branched off, and then Sammy turning on Jericho, but somehow Sammy was the heel? Made no sense.
