I hope TK does make the decisions on his own because when wrestlers get the power bad things happen. Right now 3 of the 4 EVPs are champions and the other plays the victim that will beat the odds against every new big bad that enters the company

I just find the need for AEW talent and ownership to bury WWE or be bitter towards them very one note. And AEW is dangerously close to becoming what they said they wouldn’t be. Don’t get me wrong I’d rather watch AEW than raw or SD any day but I’m not jerking Tony Kahn off for having a rich dad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
If I company fired me on my wedding day, I'm saying a lot worse than what Punk said. Punk has every right to fire as many shots at WWE as he wants

I find Punk reserved, honestly. I'd definitely have brought up the wedding.

WCW's problem wasn't hiring all the good names they could use, it was hiring like 100 people they never used. Like people who had like 3 matches, maybe on Pro, but got flights to every Nitro for no reason. And then paying Hogan such a huge chunk of the bottom-line. That said, 1998 was their most profitable year ever and far more profitable than WWF until WWF beat that profit in 2000. Key is to make sure you're still bringing that money in. It didn't help WCW either that it paid Master P 20 million for 1999 when they added nothing and Kiss like 8 mill for one concert that killed the ratings. :maury
Also this. AEW uses the majority of their talent. WCW just hired people to hire them.

I can’t comment on AEW cause I don’t watch it lmao. I’ve just heard people saying it’s so much better than wwe and I’m here because CM Punk signing is just the biggest fucking thing ever. And the fact that they sign literally every single released WWE talent is eyebrow raising.

WCW did the same thing WWE started doing when AEW came about, hire people so they couldn't be on the other show
