AEW’s upcoming video game reportedly has a release date.
Fightful Select reported on Friday that the game is scheduled to be released on June 27. Fightful said it heard from several retailers they were told the game would be released in late June. Additionally, Fightful reported that the official announcement regarding the game’s release date would be coming “over the next week”.
The game was originally announced back in November of 2020. The title of the game, as well as gameplay videos, were first shown last year. Originally set for release in 2022, the game was delayed, with Kenny Omega earlier this year citing the need to scale down the game's content in order to obtain a Teen rating from the ESRB, which eventually they were able to get.
When released, Fight Forever will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One & Xbox Series X. The game was developed by Yukes, with THQ Nordic publishing.
