Tony Khan has revealed that "AEW: Fight Forever" will be the title of his company's upcoming console video game.
The AEW President addressed the live crowd in Pittsburgh on Wednesday and confirmed the name. The company filed to trademark "AEW: Fight Forever" last month.
Khan also asked fans in attendance to participate in chants to be recorded for the game. Ring announcer Justin Roberts then led the crowd in a series of chants for FTR, Aubrey Edwards, Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, Jeff Hardy, Sting, Adam Cole, and Adam "Hangman" Page.
While no official release date for the game has been revealed, a report from Fightful Select recently stated that it could be released as early as September.
AEW is working with Yuke's, a video game developer based in Japan, to produce the game. The studio had previously worked on the WWE 2K franchise up until 2018. According to an article published by Forbes last year, AEW has put in an eight-figure investment into developing the video game.
