Ok ya so that totally was a nod. In 2015 Kenny got on the apron n then decided to not do anything but it distracted kota long enough to get cluntered into the styles clash n failed to win the title. In this case Matt just stayed on the apron, saying fuck Kenny essentially

inner Circle match was not good, and this company seems to put far more inexperienced people in the ring than ay other company, and it shows. Arlovski and JDS looked like they were having fun, and it showed.
