Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite
averaged 776,000 viewers on TBS, down 10.1 percent from last week. It's the lowest audience total for the show since October 18 of last year, which was a Saturday airing. For a Wednesday episode, It's Dynamite's lowest viewership since June 15, 2022.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished eighth on the cable charts with a 0.28 rating. That's the same rating the show has done for four straight weeks. It ties Dynamite's fifth-lowest rating of the year to date.
Programming related to the NBA and NHL playoffs took five of the seven top spots on cable. Vanderpump Rules and Watch What Happens Live on Bravo both also finished ahead of Dynamite in 18-49.
Dynamite's ratings were even or down in most categories, although young men were slightly up from last week. There was a five percent increase with men 18-49 and a 4.2 percent increase with males 12-34. The biggest decline was 18 percent with people over 50, which was the main reason for the overall viewership decline. Dynamite's 0.32 rating in that category was its lowest since the June 15, 2022 episode.
As compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite was down 6.8 percent in total viewers and down 12.5 percent in 18-49. It's the 20th straight week the show has had a year-over-year decline of at least 10 percent.
