That’s what we were discussing. I think it’s more vague when it comes to a simple match name and whether or not the company wants to pursue it but an actual match type I think can be trademarked, which is why again no one has ever done an elimination chamber outside of WWE And why WCW had to close before war games got ripped off by everybody and their mother.

I think they choose not to do it. If the match is named after something that is just a description of the match, they can't trademark it because descriptions cannot be trademarked

Like they can trademark Elimination Chamber because it is a name, not a description. Something like Tables, Ladders and Chairs could be argued as a description.. but calling it TLC is a name, not a description.
