That Mariah turn might be an all time favorite segment of mine. Not just for the year. I’m still thinking about it.

Now, I would say we do depart again on Hanger. We both agree it’s the better story, but if Hanger isn’t going to dethrone Swerve, I’d rather he turn baby and pair up with Omega BECAUSE that would give me a similar full circle payoff. Swerve and Omega finally come back together to fight off the true shit stirrers, the Bucks.

but it doesn't pay anything off and puts lower on the card if anything. Also feel too soon before the Elite have picked as a dominant force. Kind of leaves all the anger to Swerve hanging which makes no sense character wise. He doesn't like the Elite but he HATES Swerve

u just contradicted urself. hangman is joining the elite in blood n guts despite not being happy with them because he hates werve more. how does that not make sense? its perfectly logical...

Several discords, online lol, even in places where I am one of the few who likes AEW. Sorry but this feud has been awful imo and it's not cause of the Bucks. Love the Elite, they are not the problem with this feud.

I hope Tony is checking the Internet today because everywhere I look everyone is talking about and applauding the Mariah turn last night. Many have pieced together the same things that I have that Tony brilliantly planned this out from before she debuted and was warning us about this turn for months on months. This thread goes into a little bit of how much Tony uses the All About Eve story as his story blueprint.

ive seen exactly 0 threads on the aew sub hating on the segment either, so it sounds like just loud haters to me. acclaimed are meh but the segment was absoilutely fine and funny
